Lifesaver Waterproof Mats

I've tried so many other protectors and they all were uncomfortable. Not Uncle Mo's!! The lifesaver mats are comfortable, don't shift, stay cool against my skin, and keep my sheets dry against menopausal night sweats. I will need to order more for my car to keep my swim bags on after US Masters practice and swim meets.

I know, I know - the Mini size of the Lifesaver Waterproof Mat might look like a ridiculously huge size to use for period care. But guess what? I'm big, and I am not a dainty bleeder. When my heaviest periods come calling, a box of 32 ultra tampons lasts me two to three days. Sleeping comfortably and securely becomes a major issue. I have one Lifesaver Waterproof Mat Mini, and during my period, I wash and dry it every day to use overnight (usually with a tampon, and with men's boxer brief-style underwear to keep everything secure). This mat has never let me down. I know that no matter how I lie, how much I move, or how heavy my tampon overflow is - and it can be HEAVY - I am covered from every angle for a full eight hours. It covers from my lower back to WELL above where it needs to in the front, and gathers comfortably in my groin, offering truly unparalleled coverage in every direction. (And I've tried EVERYTHING on the market.) I genuinely forget I'm using this mat because it's so comfortable. I have not been gentle with it, and after over a year of washing and scrubbing by hand and tumble drying on medium heat, it looks, feels, and works like it's brand new. I'm buying three more because it's held up so well and proven to be the very best product I've ever tried. I got this as a free gift with a purchase, but I am so happy that I chose it! I've used it as a bath mat at my public pool, a waterproof cover on a coffee-soaked car seat, a puppy pad for my dog, and most recently, an emergency diaper for a kid I was babysitting (who would've thought?). This thing truly has infinite uses and I plan on buying a few more just because of how handy they are!

Upgraded from the regular lifesaver mat because I am a chaotic sleeper and this product is so big, even I can't get it to the "wrong place at the wrong time." Neurological issues in my sleep can sometimes trigger a giant mess at night, but this product is so great that sometimes I even sleep through the mess. I wake up and realize my clothes may be wet but the pad isn't. And because of the increased size - I never have to wake up my partner in the middle of the night because a mess was made.

My only issue is that sometimes if other family members wash it in too big a load, it may need a rewash, and it definitely does better with line drying -something I haven't noticed with the lifesaver original, but I think it's likely just because of the sheer size and effectiveness of the product.

These are used in my house for periodic bouts of sleep incontinence. They are a literal lifesaver. My only issue with them was that with someone who tosses and turns a lot at night, sometimes they end up only halfway in the right place when needed. So, I upgraded to the XL, but I am still grateful to have these in the drawer on nights when the XL has come in handy already and/or both the XLs are in the wash.

Also, when going on vacation and packing space is tight, these take up less space in the luggage. Did one trip and had to go back to disposable pads (no laundry/space) and ugh. Noisy, sweaty, uncomfortable and they didn't even get wet.
