Washing & Drying  Instructions:

-Machine wash in cold or warm water (up to 140°F / 60°C).

-Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or detergents with enzymes, as they can damage the materials.

-Use a high-quality, commercially available detergent—we recommend Tide Original

-Hang dry your Lifesaver Mat when possible to help maintain its shape and extend its lifespan.

-If using a dryer, tumble dry on medium or low heat. Avoid high heat or over-drying.

With our new Lifesaver Lush, the printed side is the one you lay on—printed side up! When you hold the mat, it’s easy to tell: the printed side is a beautiful, soft, stay-dry minky material, while the solid side is the PUL waterproof fabric we use in many of our products.

We recommend a heavy-duty warm cycle with recommended commercially available detergent. Line dry when you can, but if you must, tumble dry low! Avoid any fabric softeners or dryer sheets to protect your mat’s absorbency.

Each Lifesaver Mat is made of 3 layers: waterproof PUL, absorbent microfibre, and a top layer of stay dry charcoal. Get all the details here.
This is the mat with a thousand uses. Waterproof PUL on one side, absorbent, soft, stay dry and stain resistant charcoal on the other, we are so proud of this product. Originally designed to help with potty training, our customers use our Lifesavers around their homes in so many ways: change mat, picnic blanket, beach towel, couch protector, sensory play mat, intimacy bed blanket, etc. Find out more here.

That’s a great question! Unfortunately it is a little tricky to answer. If you evenly and steadily distributed water across the entire mat, we could probably give you an amount, but that’s not really how most humans leak and therefore not how the mats get used. We do have this handy video to show you how our Lifesaver Mats absorb. This should give you an idea of how it works and if it will be a good fit for the mess you have in mind!

Including packaging, the mat’s weights are as follows:

Cute & Convenient Period Towel

Bought the mini awhile ago, not realizing how little it would be. The original is a great size, covering almost the width of my twin bed so I feel safe at night during my period. It shifts around a little but still covered. The fleece side is soft so comfortable during sleep. I don't get hot between this & my blankets. The pattern side is smooth & cooling to the touch. In the 2 months I've used this, I haven't had any big leaks yet to tell how absorbent it is or how noticeable a stain could be. For now I'll say the absorbent layer inside feels substantial, making it feel like, well, a mat or lightweight plush blanket. I'm giving it 4 stars until I get my full use out of it, wait to see how it stands the test of time & it's premium pricing. It feels high quality, there's many cute designs, & it's better than a towel or disposable options so I wish it was more accessible. Definitely recommend buying during their sales & saving up for it because I can see it being worth it for many things in the long run (as they've shown on their social media time & time again).
