A day’s worth of diapers

You get not one, not two, but SIX of our wicked awesome Cloth Diapers. Choose three of our adorable prints and three of our beautiful solids. Our diapers are no-prep and ready to go right out of the package, so you can take “diaper prep” or “buy inserts” off the to-do list as well.

Extra Inserts

Babies pee… a lot. And let’s not even talk about the 💩. So in addition to the diapers, our Daypack includes four sets of extra inserts of your choice between Bamboo, Charcoal, or mix. Since you can reuse our covers between changes, these extra inserts mean you have the supplies for 10 changes, which should last all day.

No Decisions!

You only choose the prints - everything else is done! With the remaining brain cells, go watch some Netflix or get started on lil Apple Mo’s college applications. We’ll worry about getting this stuff to you, fast and free.

The question we get asked most often...

How many diapers do I need?

We’re big ole nerds and have done the math on this. Newborns will use more diapers, older babes fewer, and it averages out to about 10 changes a day. Then you factor in laundry. If you are not into doing laundry every day, we would recommend getting at least 2 and preferably 3 packs. That way you can wash every other day and still have a day's worth of diapers to get you through your wash routine. If you want to wait a lil longer between washes (we don’t recommend letting it go too long, because ew) then you will need a few more packs.

Not sure if you can handle a ‘fluff bum’?

Diapers so easy, anyone can use them.

These diapers were made for you. Literally. Made for the parent who might typically not use Cloth Diapers if it weren’t this foolproof. No stuffing, no jargon, no swearing. Just a simple diaper that works. 2 guide snaps so you’ll always know how to get a good fit. Stain-free diaper cover-lining and dark coloured inserts. PUL belly band to prevent wicking. Inserts that are easy to use and that have staying power. We’ve made all the hard decisions, your only job is to choose the prints you want!! Gifting this to new parent will at best get them curious about cloth diapers leading them to use cloth and at worst our diapers are used to clear up bad rashes and for photoshoots.

Worried about leaks? Or rashes?

Don’t. We’ve got you covered.

Actually our inserts do. Each diaper comes with a set of inserts we have dubbed “The Tank.” Insanely absorbent and backed with waterproof PUL, these insert can provide 12+ hours of bulletproof leak protection. With the extra set, you get 4 set of Tanks in this bundle. So not only do you not have to worry about leaks but you can forget about diaper rashes too.

Still not sure?

We’ve got your back, Jack.

Hear ye, hear ye!! Lil Helper diapers DO NOT NEED TO BE PREPPED! Yes, you heard right, They do NOT need to be prepped! Every diaper and insert comes to you ready to be used with all the absorption you will ever need just waiting to wick away your baby’s wetness! (Cue happy dance…) We do recommend giving the new diapers a quick wash at least once in warm or cold water to get rid of any dust that may have accumulated from the warehouse or shipping. You will only need to use ½ the recommended amount of detergent for this short cycle as the diapers are already clean, you are just freeing them of dust.
You know when you buy your kid that super sought after toy and then get it home only to see the fine print that all the amazing accessories on the box aren’t actually included…. Meaning more money and lots of tears (from the kids and maybe even you!). We want to make your life as easy as possible, that is why all our diapers come with a cover AND inserts. So when you purchase a Lil Helper Diaper you get a diaper cover and an insert set. Meaning, you get the whole diaper so it’s ready to use without any extra purchases. How's that for easy?
Like peanut butter and Jam, bacon and eggs, or moms and coffee some of the best things come in twos. We designed our diaper with two inserts to give you more flexibility in customizing absorption. You would use the small liner by itself when the baby is under 3-4 months. When the baby grows older then you can use the large liner in tandem with the small one. This gives you customizable absorption as your baby grows.
Unsnapping your diapers and inserts properly will extend their lifespan and keep the snaps in good shape. Here’s a video by Mohammed, Chief Doo-Doo Officer at Lil Helper explaining how to take care of the snaps. Enjoy.
I can almost categorically tell you that your child will not need any diaper creams whatsoever when using our diapers. But even if you were to use diaper creams, here is a good reason why you shouldn't be using any creams. The same impermeable layer of waterproof protection that the diaper rash cream forms on your child's bum is also transferred on the cloth diaper making it water-resistant. Moisture won't be absorbed readily if you use rash creams on any cloth diaper, not only Lil Helper. If the diaper cannot absorb pee or poo then it will leak. We suggest avoiding all creams… yes even coconut oil. The icing on the cake is that ultimately with cloth there is less need for the creams anyways. We change more often reducing wetness and you avoid any of the harmful chemicals in disposables that may also cause irritation on our little ones tushie. Click here if you want to know more!

Fantastic but small for toddlers

Highly recommended for babies and smaller toddlers. Definitely on the short side for average height or tall toddlers.

Our twin 18 month olds have had pretty constant diaper rash and yeast, so we wanted to try a switch from disposable to cloth. So far it's helped quite a bit. These diapers held a lot, with only a minor leak overnight due to fit, and wash very well. They are comfortable on the baby, and no more rash!

With my older kids we had tried some all-in-two cloth diapers and always had to wash the covers every time, the inserts on these hold enough we can go a change or two without needing to also wash the covers.

Unfortunately, we aren't going to get to use them long. My girls are nearly 18 months old, about 26 lbs, wearing 18 months-2T clothing, and between size 4 and 5 in disposable diapers. They have quite a bit of width left to go in these diapers but the rise is so low it's nearly too short already. When they get taller there's no way they will continue to fit. We've tried removing the smaller insert, but didn't gain any real improvement in rise and the decrease in absorption wasn't worth it.

I'm considering trying a pair of the training pants with the tank inserts to see if that would work.

Hi MaryAnne! We appreciate your time and your review of our Tank Cloth Diapers. It is wonderful to read that your twins' constant diaper rash was alleviated when using our Tank Cloth Diapers and that your kiddos find them to be comfortable. One quick tip on the fit for some kiddos: you can unsnap the inserts after your child is in the diaper to create more wiggle room. Our Delight team is also always here to help with fit and absorbency questions, we would love to help your girls to get a better fit so they can use these right up to potty training time! Best Cloth Diapers

I've tried so many cloth diapers. Unfortunately, most of them leaked with my daughter, who has relatively thin legs for her height. If they didn't leak, they had multiple parts that were somewhat difficult to put together for those who watch her. What is perfect about these is that they are easy to clean, put together, put on the baby, and they fit perfectly. No leaking! Not one time has she had a blowout with this diaper. Moreover, this site is wonderful because it allows you to try a diaper at a reduced rate if you're a new customer! It was an awesome deal. I came back recently during the Black Friday sale and bought six more. Next, I plan to try some of the menstrual products. Thank you for making reliable, sustainable, absorbent products!

Hey Sarah! Your review is truly appreciated- thank you for taking the time to write this for us! We are ecstatic that our Tank Cloth Diapers are able to do what the other brands of cloth diapers you tried previously could not. The Tank Cloth Diapers were created with ease in mind; from washing to wearing, we want our products to be as helpful as possible! Thank you big time for being such a loyal customer. Keep your eye on our FB Group 'Lil Helper Lounge' for some sneak peeks coming soon about our latest HyPs reusable menstrual product line! They will definitely be worth trying out. Best Cloth Diaper

I absolutely love these cloth diapers! I hardly ever write reviews but I have been so blown away by this company that I had to tell everyone how amazing they are! I have been cloth diapering my son for about four months now and he is about 17 months old now. I was worried about diapers not fitting since I started so late in the game for cloth diapers but it is the best switch I could have made! The tank diapers fit him so well and even though he is already 24lbs there is still room for him to grow before we start potty training. I have used other cheaper cloth diapers when I started this journey but lil helper diapers were totally worth the investment! They absorb so much more than the cheaper diapers and don't get stained after blowouts which is amazing. My husband and I were intimidated at first by the cleaning process, but it has turned out to be a breeze. We just wash off any solids into the toilet then a quick rinse in the sink then to a dry bag until wash day. The tank diapers have held up so well in the wash with no changes in absorbency compared to our cheaper diapers that have had increased leaks with increased wash cycles due to the hard water in our location. These diapers are such amazing quality that I know if we ever have a second child that these diapers will last even for them and I will be sad when our diaper journey is over cause these diapers are so cute. I cannot express how amazing the customer service is and am so glad I found this company as every product is spectacular!

Easy to use and awesome

I am a first time mom. My baby is now 12 weeks old and I have used Lil Helper diapers since she was 4 weeks. I am using 16 and wash every other day. They are so easy to use and they work. No stuffing, no folding, the dark fleece hides any poo stains. The prints are so cute, my favorite is space dinosaurs! The system is so easy. Two inserts snap together and snap into the shell. Unsnap everything, toss into an AWESOME Lil Helper wet bag, and wash when ready. They hold a lot of pee and contain the poo. People (ahem in-laws) say "use disposables when you're out!" Um no. I use Lil Helper because I TRUST them. The only poop blowouts that happen are with disposables! Also, no rash with lil helpers! My baby gets a pustule rash with disposables, but no rash with lil Helper. She gets a bit of redness where butt meets thigh but I use a cloth diaper safe cream (from another cloth diaper company). This diaper is no-no sense, and great for sleepy parents thanks to the snaps and trustworthy absorbency. I have a 2 wash routine. First wash is a "speed wash" on hot with heavy soil and line 1 of tide powder. 2nd wash is a heavy wash on warm with line 1 of tide powder. I also add baby clothes, adult clothes, towels etc to the wash, and that usually needs line 2 of tide powder. Then, you dry on low on 40 minutes and they are perfect. I dont dry the shells! They air dry over a rack, back of chair, the stroller handle, on the edge of the hamper, or wherever! I use the overnight inserts and baby sometimes leaks (pee monster) but rarely. I use the lifesaver mat in her crib. PS, the red lifesaver mat is BEAUTIFUL! The lil Helper wet bags are the best (but I wish they had 2 loop handles instead of 1). The mesh laundry bag is the best. I am so thankful for these diapers and Lil Helper in general. The quality is superb and every detail is considered. Thank you!!!!!!!

Good evening Kinsey!!

My goodness, you really touched on every detail that we incorporated into the Tank Cloth Diapers to make them a game changer for parents like you: an easy to use system, super absorbent, rash free, cute prints! We are thrilled to hear that you are enjoying your Lifesaver Mat as well. Thank you for your suggestion about adding a handle to our wet bags, we will pass this along to our idea squad! Sharing your wash routine here is super helpful for other folks who are considering cloth diapering, thank you for helping to grow our community- one cloth diaper babe at a time! We would love to have you join us in either (or both!) of our Facebook groups: Lil Helper Unsnapped: Parenting Tips & Advice and Lil Helper Lounge. We are so thankful for you as well.
