Our beautiful bite bags are made of waterproof PUL. This material helps to keep your snacks fresh and prevent leaks of any more ‘wet’ goodies (wet as in washed and cut fruit, we don’t recommend Bite Bags for storing soup!).
We do not recommend using our Bite Bags for long term food storage in the freezer. They are not air tight and thus will not create that perfect freezer burn proof seal you want for this kind of food storage.
You can hand wash your bags in the sink between uses if you are in a rush. You can also throw it in your washer with your regular clothing on cold or warm. ALWAYS hang your bags open to dry, the heat from the dryer will damage the PUL. Video with explanation
The big bite bag is 8” x 8” The small bite bag is 8” x 4”
Snacks are the primary use but also great for storing HyPs, art supplies like markers, small first aid kits, small toy storage, organization, and don’t forget that they snap together easily.
