How to Wash Your Lil Helper Diapers
Simple steps. Stellar results. Make sure any solid “stuff” is already out of the diapers, inserts, and liners before you throw them in the washer. Unsnap the inserts and the diaper. Pre-wash (short cycle) in warm water using the recommended brand and amount of detergent—Tide Original to Line 1. Then run a Heavy Duty (longest cycle, max 140°F/60°C) warm/cold wash with the proper detergent amount and bulking. We recommend Tide Original, adjusted based on load size.
How Many Do You Really Need?
Just the right number for your routine. If you’re full-time cloth diapering, you’ll want around 18–24 diapers so you can wash every 2–3 days. For part-time or daytime use, 6–12 diapers usually do the trick. Since each diaper comes with a Tank Insert Set, you’ll always have backup absorbency ready to go.
